help me out with my DVD burnner !!!!!!!!!

I have a Plextor DVDR PX-716AL ,runs with windows 2000 pack 4. My DVD drive is not detected and i have no idea why nor how or where I canget the driver for it. dont tell me go to Plextor.com to download the driver because I already did, and they didnt have driver for it either. help help help, I need to do burn some back up DVDs for my servers. Ups, if you have solution please show me step to step because I am not very smart. thanks!
